D.C., Chiropractor, Cary H. Rothenberg. Professional license 15265498.
A disc herniation happens when disc material presses on a nearby nerve. Surgery is not always required. Evaluation reviews symptoms, examination, and imaging if you bring it. The plan may include table decompression, physiotherapy, and follow-up per clinical criteria.

What is a disc herniation?
Intervertebral discs cushion between vertebrae. When inner material shifts and compresses a nerve, pain may run down the leg or arm depending on the level. Intensity varies from local ache to sciatica or numbness.
