Right-sided low back pain | what to review

D.C., Chiropractor, Cary H. Rothenberg. Professional license 15265498.

One-sided low back pain can come from muscle, joint, or nerve irritation. Evaluation reviews symptoms, exam, and studies if you bring them. Plan set in evaluation; no promise of results from the first session.

What to know

Pain on the right side of the low back is not always disc-related. Posture, load, and prior injury all matter. Evaluation sorts what fits conservative care.

When to book evaluation

  • Pain or stiffness that limits work, sleep, or daily activity.
  • Symptoms into the buttock or leg, or numbness.
  • Episodes that do not improve with brief rest.
  • Recent imaging you want reviewed in the visit.

Do not book here for loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the genital or anal area, leg weakness that is getting worse, or pain after a major injury. That is an emergency.
