Lumbar decompression | conservative spine care
D.C., Chiropractor, Cary H. Rothenberg. Professional license 15265498.
Lumbar decompression techniques aim to reduce load on irritated structures when appropriate. Evaluation reviews symptoms, exam, and studies if you bring them. Plan set in evaluation; no promise of results from the first session.

What to know
Decompression is one tool in conservative spine care, not a guarantee. Evaluation matches your symptoms and exam to what the clinic offers within its filed scope.
When to book evaluation
- Lumbar pain or stiffness worse with sitting, bending, or lifting.
- Buttock or leg symptoms that follow nerve patterns.
- Recent lumbar imaging you want reviewed in the visit.
- Daily limits on work, sleep, or walking that persist after brief rest.
Do not book here for loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the genital or anal area, leg weakness that is getting worse, or pain after a major injury. That is an emergency.
